“Watch out, watch out, here come the Garavuše!”—this is how the winning team celebrated at the Osijek edition of the “National Barbecue with PIK”!
The ladies certainly had every reason to celebrate, as they became the first all-female winning team in the traditionally male-dominated discipline of barbecuing. Their partners cheered them on throughout the event from the “barbecue park,” and later joined them in the celebration.
The “Narodni Roštilj with PIK” event at Tvrđa concluded the Slavonian leg of the tour, and the delicious meat specialties from PIK Vrbovec will already be sizzling next weekend at the first Istrian barbecue event, hosted in the beautiful city of Pula.
Anyone wishing to participate in the competitive part of the barbecue event—and secure a place in the grand final at Jarun—can still apply for the competitions in Pula and Zadar.
Those who have always dreamed of a VIP barbecue experience can try their luck in the barbecue quiz on the Narodni Roštilj website, where the most successful participants win a VIP package that includes free transport in a Škoda Rapid, cold Karlovačko beer, and barbecue specialties from PIK Vrbovec.
Visitors who may be less competitive—but no less passionate about barbecue—can join the fun by grilling in the organized barbecue park or enjoy the rich catering offer at affordable prices, featuring ready-to-eat PIK Vrbovec meat delicacies and cold Karlovačko beer, because it is well known that barbecue and beer go hand in hand. All this abundance of fun and great food would not be possible without the support of other partners, including Pevec, Jamnica, Vina Belje, Zvijezda, Kotányi, and Clarum.
